Summer: Our Harvest celebration in late August evolved in the annual Labor Day Weekend Powwow.

Winter: Winter celebration: Mid-winter Social. Every January the Shinnecocks gather at their community center for drumming, fine foods and dancing with close tribal friends to cheer on the winter.

Spring: Feast of the Moon of the Flowers: (June Meeting) Another ancient celebration of the Shinnecock. A Homecoming. A time when all Shinnecock near and far were expected to gather with the tribe. Today the festival takes place within the Shinnecock Presbyterian Church the first Sunday in June.

Fall: Nunnowa (Shinnecock Thanksgiving) takes place the third Thursday in November (one week before National thanksgiving) when the entire tribe unites for dinner and to give thanks for the past year.

Shinnecock Memorial Day: December 30 - The tribe gathers to offer prayers for the Shinnecock Indians who lost their lives in the Circassian, December 30, 1876.
